A blast from the past

We had a lovely visit from some wonderful friends we unfortunately haven't seen in 12 years! Brian and Alan were business partners when Brian and I first got married. I have actually known Alan longer than I have known Brian. Thats another story... anyway, when Alan lost his father he and the family packed up and moved back home to Australia. It was a pretty tough thing for us to loose them. We almost moved Down Under to go into business with Alan there after Ysabel was born....and that is yet another story. Anyway, Alan Wood and boys flew up from Australia to visit for a while. They have definitely been missed!
This is Nathan...he was 3 last time we saw him.
Josh was 5 last time he was here
and this is Alan...and he was 12 years younger last time we saw him. However Alan, you don't look a day older :)
The fun thing is that Aunt Kammi got to come with them! IT was AWESOME seeing the 4 of them!
The last night they were in town Alan graciously took us all to dinner...at one of our old haunts...Red Robin.

Nate on his 3rd Dr. Pepper! Dinner had just been ordered! Gotta love him! Poor kid, only one store near his home sells Dr. Pepper but its $3.75 per can! So he was tanking them down and enjoying every last drop!

Hope it isn't another 12 years til we see them next. I haven't laughed this hard in 12 years! These guys have a heap of stories and now that Alan has his boys to keep him company they have only gotten funnier! It was so great to have them around for a few days again! Sure love em!

So fun! Our best friends are in Australia right now too...WAY too far to be allowed if you ask me! We're hoping to be able to go see them in June. They're having a baby any day now that we've decided is going to marry our little girl ;) Anything to make us actually family rather than "adopted" family. Glad you guys had a good time!
