My poor baby had a horrible week! At the first of the week Brock and Ethan were playing and Ethan caught his abnormally long fingernail on Brocks chin and left a pretty good mark. The next day Brock was sneaking into my room to scare me, I caught him, he stood up to reprimand me for seeing him and he caught his eye on my doorknob giving him a decent black eye (it was actually red, but once it has sat long enough it will be black). The next day his friend at school was swinging his lunch box around and nailed him in the same eye! Not two hours later he was in gym playing a game, tripped on the smooth floor and landed on his forehead....leaving the bruise on his head.

Good bye Hill
We have been blessed to have some great missionaries in our ward since we moved in. It is always tough to say goodbye. Elder Hill was "born" here in the mission...and has been here for 4 or 5 transfers. My kids really loved the silly boy from Africa! He is a great person and a wonderful missionary and we will miss him. Hannah cried herself to sleep the night he left. He was really good to the kids in our ward. Here are some of the pictures from the night he came to say goodbye. He is the blonde Elder. The dark headed Elder
is Reay, another great Elder.

SUPER BOWL PARTY
Rebekah and I made a bunch of food! Pizza rolls....YUM!!!! Muddie Buddies, Hot Wings, we dipped Pretzels, had chips and Paulie Dip, loads of veggies and other great stuff! Everyone in the room was cheering for Arizona except Brian, and yes...sadly he turned out the victor! Lucky boy!

All in a Day's Work
At work today Brian witnessed a construction accident. He was on the 14th floor of the PwC building when he noticed the rope holding a large construction bucket start to violently shake. The rope broke and the bucket fell about 20 stories. Luckily only one person was close enough to feel the effect. Unfortunately the guy broke both his legs. Here is a link to read the story. Brian was quoted in the New York Post! Cool aye?http://www.nypost.com/seven/01302009/news/regionalnews/manhattan/worker_falls_near_new_york_public_librar_152793.htm

Hannah
Last night Hannah would not stop talking and go to sleep. Finally after the nine millionth time of asking her to be quiet she says to me..."Sorry mom, I don't know why, but at night I just can't get my mouth to stop talking."

MY Scallops HURT

Some of you may know that I work at school #2 to be close to my two youngest kids during the day. I'm one of the lunch aids. Yesterday one of my kindergarten kids told me that his "scallops hurt." I smiled and asked him "what?" He repeated himself and pointed to his spine. At this point I giggled and he told me it wasn't funny cause he "could be paralyzed forever if his scallops continued to hurt." I told him if he ate his lunch they would most likely stop hurting, but if they didn't I would immediately take him to the school nurse and he could describe his pain for her. He smiled and was apparently happy with my profound knowledge of how to care for scallops because he started eating his lunch with a big grin on his face. The funny little guy didn't have a problem with his scallops for the rest of the day.
BRYAN KEHL, NY GIANTS

A couple of weeks ago the young adults in our stake got to have a fireside with Bryan Kehl from the New York Giants. Unfortunatly my kids couldn't go, they had Faith in God, but Ethan and Bella got to meet him after the fireside. It was a fantastic evening! He is a great speaker. Those who attended LOVED IT! Our friend Tali took this picture of the kids with Bryan.
It was sweet, Ethan asked him for an autograph for himself and for his daddy! What a good kid! The fun thing is...they talked about journals at Faith in God so Ethan and Bella got to have Bryan sign their journals.
