This is Wakula Springs. This was one of my most favorite stops on our trip. We saw so many different animals it was cool! This is also where "The creature from the black lagoon" was filmed. We have since watched it and even though it is corny recommend it to everyone! :)

This is a manatee that was swimming around in the spring. They are quite beautiful animals, they are also called sea cows and some sailors thought they were mermaids. That thought destroyed any Disney ideal of a mermaid for me!
