Today during lunch Mrs. Turono brought Brock and another little boy in his class into the lunch room and made them both look me in the eye and tell my why they were not allowed to have recess today.
Apparently Mr. Busett heard them screaming in the bathroom, scared the "hell" out of them (direct words from Mr. Busett!) and told them they better not be caught screaming in the bathroom again. That is when Mrs. Turono took over.
Brock pulled out the tears and swore he wouldn't ever do anything like that! I told him I found that hard to believe since he is always screaming at home. He just looked at me like he knew he was in trouble.
The two of them got to spend recess with me where I made them do jumping jacks, run in place and do push-ups. Both boys are very active and needed to get some energy out before I sent them back to class. Once recess was over Brock went and sat down in line and started to pout. I told him if he wanted to keep this between the two of us he better have a better attitude or his daddy would find out. Brock jumped right up and had a smile on his face.

Me Little Leprechaun
I was wondering more about Leprechauns today. This is what Wikipedia has to say about the little men.

In Irish mythology, a leprechaun (Irish: leipreachán) is a type of male faerie said to inhabit the island of Ireland. They are a class of "faerie folk" associated in Irish mythology and folklore, as with all faeries, with the Tuatha Dé Danann and other quasi-historical peoples said to have inhabited Ireland before the arrival of the Celts.
Leprechauns and other creatures of Irish mythology are often associated with "faerie forts" or "faerie rings" — often the sites of ancient (Celtic or pre-Celtic) earthworks or drumlins.
Leprechauns usually take the form of old men who enjoy partaking in mischief. Their trade is that of a cobbler or shoemaker. They are said to be very rich, having many treasure crocks buried during war-time.[1] According to legend, if anyone keeps an eye fixed upon one, he cannot escape, but the moment the gaze is withdrawn, he vanishes

A VERY FUNNY NIGHT
I have a cool, rocking husband! Once a month (usually more) he encourages me leave the house to do girl things. Friday night a few good women and I went out for dinner. To celebrate the fact that we are friends and were going to be out together, we decided to dress up for dinner. So we got all gussied up and went out. (Joann and Shandis even came over the night before to help me out with my wardrobe options.)
I am sure some of the husbands just rolled their eyes, (not Bri!) but it felt good to go out looking nice. We went to a Mexican Restaurant and had a very fun time. We laughed so hard that my face and stomach muscles hurt the next day! We weren't being obnoxious! Honestly we weren't! There were some people who were going to be seated next to us, they asked if they could move. HEE HEE HE! They missed out on some funny stories!
Dinner was amazing! I would recommend that restaurant to everyone! But... I can't remember the name of it. Anyway, we couldn't get enough of the stories and all-out-laughter so once dinner was over we went to Shandis' house finish out the night and welcome the morning.
Friday night was the best over all laugh I have had in many years! I felt free for a few hours. It was great. It was like being in college again when all the girls get together and tell ALL and everyone laughs at each other. I love nights like these! Just what the sanity Dr. recommends! They help me remember there is more to me than "mom" and I like that. I LOVE being mom! But its nice to get to be Marci sometimes too!

My Favoirte Snack
SWEET AND SAVORY!!!!!

My neighbor Tony Rento,(the Italian Chef) introduced this to me a month ago and I have to say I just can't get enough of it! Who needs dessert when you can have cheese and crackers!
This is Le Delice de Bourgogne cheese on a multi grain cracker with Orange and Fig jam on top. WHOLY COW!!!! My tongue sings! I'm not kidding! Every time I eat it I think of my dad. I know he would love this! He loves eating different cheeses. This cheese is a nutty buttery flavor that just melts in your mouth like the centers of Lindt Chocolate Truffles. The cheese you can get at Costco, the crackers too. As for the jam, the only place I have found it is at Shop Rite. I highly recommend it!
Six
My Sister tagged me. I had to put up the sixth picture in my sixth album from my pictures file...Here it is...Bella's baptism picture. I am tagging Shandis, Lexi, Nikki, Mandy, Amber, and Charm.

Hannah is 7
Hannah was so excited for her birthday. This year we asked her if she wanted a party or to go to dinner with mom and dad. The cute little nut chose to have dinner with mom and dad. I forgot the camera when we went to dinner but she wanted to eat sushi so Brian and I took her to a wonderful Japanese Buffet off route 10. It has some of the most amazing sushi I have ever had. Anyway, she loved it.
She had a great birthday. Thanks to all who gave presents! It was very wonderful of you. She didn't want a decorated cake like I usually make. This year she wanted a checker board cake. Three layers and two cake mixes later...here it is.
Dad came home early so we could party.....but we took the party to the Whitehead's house.
Wes was gone...that was sad, but we had a good time. After cake and ice cream the kids decided to wrestle Brian. They piled on him for almost an hour. We only had one casualty (twice) Ethan and Rylan hit heads and then later Ethan hit the corner of Rylan's desk...he got some really cool bruises! It was a fun night for everyone.

Grapefruit Trees
I owe this idea to Wes Whitehead. I didn't know how exactly to start a seed. At the New Year's party he taught me how to do this....these are grapefruit trees. Wes and Nikki have a few growing around their house and I wanted to try it. Now I have two happy little trees growing. Brian and I love Mangos so the little container on the left in the third picture is hopefully going to be a mango tree someday....we will see.
Anyway, if you want to try it...you take seeds from your grapefruit or orange, or in my case...a mango. Place them in a plastic bag on a wet paper towel. Place the bag in a sunny window and wait about 3 weeks. Then plant the things. Put the pot in the same sunny window and wait again...hopefully all will go well and you will have cute little green sprouts in a few weeks. I'll keep you updated on the mango.

I had to get pictures of it! Its just soooooo funny!
